Original Antique Native American Ceremonial War Shield. Hand Painted. Trade cloth, brass tacks around hard rim, horse hair drops. Measures 16 1/4” high x 15 1/2” long x 1” thick. Estimate age to be 1880s to 1890s. Probably used in ceremony or hung on a teepee.This is original. Not a repro. I have bought and sold Native American Indian items and artifactsfor over 50 years.
