For sale is a large antique French friendship hand painted flowers card.
This card is made of celluloid, which is a synthetic hard plastic that was widely
used in France in the 1800's. The flowers have all been hand painted on.The words translate from French to "Chosen by a sincere friend."This item measures approx. 3 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" tall and is larger than most cards like this.
This item is antique and has age and wear including discoloration and imperfections andit does not lay perfectly flat- there is some warpage.
