Iam pleased to offerthis old and original, Eiserne Jungfrau, Nurnberg Iron Maiden. Measures approximately 5 1/2\". I am not certain that this is a souvenir from the 1893 Columbian Exposition, however, the Iron Maiden was displayed at the Fair, and very possibly from there. That date certainly seems right for its age. It is metal, possibly pewter or pot metal. It has a nice patina.The iron maiden is in good condition, with wear commensurate with age. Please note that one handle is bent downward, and very likely would break off if one tried to straighten. It is solid and secure as is.
