Nice little iron from my miniature sad iron collection.
Has a 4 inch core.
Weighs 1.38 pounds.
On the base of the handle are the numbers 22 1900.
The Dover Mfg. Co. of Ohio made asbestos irons using the May 22, 1900, patents of O. Tverdahl and L.D. Clark of Stoughton, Wisconsin. The irons came in sizes from one-half pound to nine pounds.
The core reads ASBESTOS SAD IRON.
