Antique Bending Iron for Violin Viola Mandolin Making
The bending iron itself is of unknown origin. Most likely it was made by a craftsman or machine shop many decades ago. The cord is made by Peer Company in the USA. The switch is made by Leviton in the USA. The height or the oval part is about 3\" high. The total height is about 7\".
Condition: Visually in good condition. No cracks on the metal or the wood. The bending iron gets warm slowly with regular American 120V outlet, but doesn\'t get hot enough for bending. It may be a simple fix, but I don\'t know anyone who fixes this kind of stuff.
