Here is an auger for drilling holes in barn beams for joinery with wooden pegs. The actual bit or screw portion that starts the hole measures about 9/16\". It will make a hole that tapers up to about 1 7/8\" across. The overall length is 11\" long. The blade is about 5 1/4\". The wood handle is about 9\" long. Please review the photos, as always they are the best description. You can always meet us for local pick-up and we can deliver to some areas. Just message us! We apologize for the shipping cost. The Post Office has been BRUTAL lately so we are having to do OVERKILL packaging to prevent destruction.
