We are pleased to offer to a rare and unusual HF Military Radio AM-7148/GRC-206 150Watt RFAmplifier Antenna Coupler made by Rockwell Collins. this is part of the the AN/URC-113 Radio Set in the 1980\'s.

these were integrated into the AN/GRC-206(V)3 Radio Set used by Forward Air Controllers asa sub set for the HF 2-30MHz Band.

We acquired a few of the GRC 206(V)3 Radio Sets and have broken them down so that we can offer you this part of the AN/URC-113 Radio Set which is the HF Radio Set portion .

This RF Amplifier requires RT-1209/URC or a RT-1209A/URC Transceiver ( Not Included) to be mounted in the cutout on the front section of theAM-7148/GRC-206..

The AM-7148/GRC- Amplifier-Coupler is designed to provide a 50 ohm output at the BNC port and also has a antenna tuner port for a 18 or 35 foot whip antenna, or long wire antenna.

We have connected a dipole antenna to the long wire port and found it would tune non resonate antenna up to about a 5:1 SWR range.

The frequency range of the radio Set is 2.0000 MHz to 29.9999 MHz. Power input requirements are 24 to 30 VDC at 20 amps .

The entire system is latched together and mounted on a shock mount that is not included.

This unit has been bench checked and found to be partially functional on some of the bands.

This unit is repairable and we can supply spare parts from other units at reasonable prices.
