ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY DUTCH WOOLWORK CROSS STITCH SAMPLER NEEDLEWORK:

This is an amazing and rare antique Dutch woolwork sampler, showing flowers, birds, butterflies and other animals and last but now least two dancing ladies.

The sampler is Dutch and dates from the 19th century. It is stitched with multi-colored wool thread on stiff cloth.

This is quite a large sampler, it measures approximately 22 3/4 x 18 inches or 58 x 45.5 cm.

The cloth is a bit discolored in some places. There is some loss of stitches, please see photos.
