A very nice example of a small pocket microscope, sometimes also known as a florascope, bug or flea glass, often carried in the pocket by naturalists, or botanists for closer look at specimen samples.

The microscope is made from brass whichnow has a slightly tarnished finish, giving the item a very characterful appearance. The microscope is well made of a good quality brass.

It comes in two parts, the top, magnifier part has open sides with a lens at the top. It has a prism inside the base.

There is no makers mark on the item and it does not have any additional accessories.

All in all it\'s a great little item,whichforms an interestingdisplay piece, or addition to acollection of antique scientific or apothecary items. Add a touch of Sherlock to your home

POSTAGE: Our postage charges are estimated to thebest of our ability before the item is packed for shipping, based on actualRoyal Mail price charts. Therefore, if the actual shipping charge should proveto be significantly less, we will refund the difference in postage back to youvia Paypal. We always use Signed For or Insured services (unless you chooseotherwise on smaller value items). Although these do cost a little more, theyoffer better service and protection for items, so are worth the extra cost incase of any problems.

I will combine postage for multiple items,provided they can be safely packed together.

The Worldwide postage quoted applies to mostdestinations, however, European countries are often cheaper, so please ask forthe postage cost to your European destination if you want furtherclarification.

NON UK buyers: In theory we arehappy to ship most items overseas, but those which are large and/or heavy canbe very expensive via UKshipping channels. However, we are a small business and returnsdo cost us money. If you request to return an item for other than the reasonsabove, we may ask you to pay the return postage charges.
