Lovely 5.5" x 4" RHODOCHROSITE Pyrite Galena and Quartz, Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Park County, Colorado. Weighs 572 grams. Picture shows mineral under normal room lighting as well as short wave UV light to exhibit the fluorescent features of this unique piece! Back is flat making for an easy great display piece! Truly stunning piece almost completely covered on the face with Rhodocrosite.
The Sweet Home Mine was closed in the end of 2024. No plan to re-open the mine again. The pieces that I am offering now are what I was able to collect and will more than likely be the last pieces I am able to obtain from this historic mine!Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.
