This is an original press photo. Tourette's Syndrome Support Group - Seated L to R: Deborah Spicer, Al Spicer; Standing L to R: Katherine Aplaugh, Meri Pinelli. The TS group promotes the awareness of Tourette's Syndrome to the public, educators, and medical and health professionals. TS is a neurological movement disorder often mistaken for a behavioral, emotional of psychiatric illness. Because of this, the support group provides emotional support and helps parents, children and adults with TS. They meet at St. Jude Medical Center every first Sunday of the month. They help individuals to get a proper diagnosis and then with the proper support services. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 10-23-1989.
