With the show “Batman” being greenlighted for production, William Doziernow needed to find the actors to play the caped crusaders. When the screen testwas over, Adam West and Burt Ward won the roles. But, in November of 1965, bothactors Lyle Waggoner (Batman) and Peter Deyell (Robin) tried out for the role.

OnJanuary 26th, 2017, the professional staff of MEARS met with Robinactor Peter Deyell for a very special private signing. Offered for this lot isa limited edition card featuring Pete Deyell dressed in the Robin costume as heauditioned for the role. Although not the star, we will forever be linked tothe 1966 Batman TV series. The card was signedin near mint blue sharpie and has been professional authenticated and slabbedby PSA/DNA.
