This is a well-maintained, working, and original Edison Standard Phonograph. I believe it is a model B since the last patent date on the player is 1905. The mechanism and cabinet are in good condition.
The speaker horn is also labelled Edison Standard. The label on the horn says 1907.The horn is in nice condition with only a few minor dents or weakened trim paint.defects. .
The original unit in 1905 was designed only for 2 minute cylinders but I installed an Edison conversion kit to enable both 2 min/4/ min operation ( 4 minute clyinders were introduced in 1909).. I sent it off to Tim Fabrizio who provided a new stylus for 2 min/ 4 min operation and inspected the mechanism finally adding a new driving.spring..
The unit\'s audio sounds great.
