This is a Print made from one of my original New England Prim Folk Art Witch Village Designs. This one is called, \" Barn Dance\", and the Witches are getting ready for the big event! The fine detailed image shows 12 New England Witches at work and play on Apple Hollow Farm just down the road from Old Salem Town. The Barn is Grey with a Brown shingled roof, Windows, Loft Door, Welcome Flag and Barn Dance Banner. There are 5 Pumpkins along the Beam across the top of the Barn Doors, and a Lantern on the side of the Doors to Light the way for the Witches. Sylvia is sitting up on the Roof of the Barn with a Magic Wand in her hand. Her job is to count and bless all the Witches as they come. Eliza Jane is tying up the clothes line where the freshly laundered Quilt is hanging. Leslie is raking the Leaves, while Lois is by the Fence weeding. Eloise and Helen are greeting the Wagon from Salem that is filled with Palm and Tarot Readers to entertain the guest. Margaret, Mazie, and Madaline are the best at this trade. Up the hill is the Farm House where Jeanette stands in the doorway and Gillian is sitting on a Branch at the top of a colorful Oak Tree. Theodate Batchelder has taken to Broom and is headed toward Salem to pick up some more Cider and Tea for tonight. There is so much to see in the scene on this 8 inch by 10 inch Print. Old Black Crows, a White Picket Fence, Sun Flowers, a Basket, Pumpkins, a Black Cat, Colorful Leaves, Gnarly Trees, a Farm Wagon, Shrubs, Flowers, Swirls, Stars, a Full Moon and of course the 12 New England Witches dressed in colorful outfits of Purple, Red, Orange, Yellow and Black with White Aprons and Tall Pointy Black hats.
