This is a chamfer guide for a Stanley No. 9-1/2 block plane. Use this guide to make sure you get a consistent 1/4" wide 45° chamfered edge on all your projects. Check out my listing for a 1/8" wide chamfer guide.

To use this guide, just unscrew the adjustable throat plate and screw this guide back on in it's place. It even works with the existing 1/4"-20 thumbscrew and throat adjuster.

This guide works great with the Stanley No. 9-1/2 plane. I haven't tested it out in any other makes or models, so it may work on another plane but I can't guarantee it.
