The problem that I have with your argument is one that I see often these days. People, usually over a personally emotional issue, point out problems they see; explain all of the negatives; and leave it at that. Someone else is supposed to resolve their complaint.
Someday animal testing will be seen as old barbaric by all, I have no doubt of that. But that day will come only when far better methods of testing for the good of humans is realized.
In other words, when animal testing is considered the inferior method, it will stop.
So my question: since you've identified the problem
(and I'm not saying that you're the first or that it is all on your shoulders - if you know of anyone working on this solution and could post a link to their work here, that would be great),
what do you propose as a superior solution?
