Monsanto suspends biotech wheat program
I mentioned the inherent problems of incredibly poor marketing to a people already scared for over a decade by foocd that was labeled "perfectly safe" by their governments.

There was also talk about those poor starving people that would eat anything rather than nothing. But how much cheaper can the higher priced GM food seeds be over the seeds they already possess?
Higher priced seed isn't going to help the poor and starving. Of course, it's lower priced for the industrial nations, but only because Monsanto was trying to competitively price their crops. Had their Round-Up wheat been a hit, they would have shoved the price through the roof.
