Uncle Al, this is explained in the papers I posted. The difference between DAMA (positive results) and other experiments (negative results) is that the detector is made of different materials.

CDMSII uses germanium and silicon while DAMA uses NAI. Sodium is lighter than germanium. Mirror atoms colliding with the sodium atoms in the NAI crystal are expected to yield detectable nuclear recoils, while mirror atoms colliding with geramium atoms are not. See the papers for a detailed explanation.

Conventional WIMP dark matter theory does not lead to a different prediction for DAMA and CDMSII.
