What puzzles me most is how they dispersed the buckyballs effectively in water.I worked with buckyballs some 15 years ago, and one of their main characteristic is that they are insoluble in water.And in pretty much any organic solvent like benzene,toluene, etc., even the gold grade soot, which was >99.1% pure buckyballs

Moreover,in water, buckyballs tend to aggregate, forming what is called a suspension, and the aggregates are quite large, you can see them using a garden variety eyeglass.

And C60 molecules behave differently than the endohedral compounds (molecules that are caged inside the shell of the buckyball, in the case one uses them as a matched latch delivery system).

So how exactly did they study the effect of "nanotech"?Up to this moment, buckyballs can be made fairly easy, and in this process no nanotech is involved.Nor is it in throwing soot in the water.I would like to see the published study...
