Re: Bringing the Sun down to Earth? (Uncle Al)

A few brief comments.

# The sun does not fuse deuterium-tritum.

Actually it does. Obviously not a large percentage of its energy ... but to the extent tha deuterium and tritium meet ... they certainly do fuse.

# Nobody can handle a 10,000 curie tritium inventory without contaminating the world.

Oh but in your opinion they can handle all of the uranium and plutonium Hanford and numerous other facilities can churn out. Please explain how this is possible?

# Nobody has the slightest hallucination of an idea how to make a power plant out of a working fusion reactor

Absolute nonsense. The fact that we haven't achieved a profitable level of fusion does not mean that we are clueless.

No doubt two years before the Wright Brothers had their first successful flight you would have been proclaiming "Nobody has the slighest hallucination of an idea how to make a heavier than air vehicle fly".

Attitude before aptitude again eh uncle?
