The computer has just been listed in the "Guinness Book of Records" as the worlds smallest biological computing device.
Ehud Shapiro, a computer scientist at the Weizmann Institute, and colleagues report today in the online edition of Nature that their tiny bio-molecular computer is autonomous, "powered" by DNA.

It is so small that a million million of them will fit into a drop of water. They can diagnose certain types of Cancer, and release a drug to kill Cancer cells.
So far the technology has only worked within a test tube, but its another step towards the dream of nano-technological medical machines that can operate within living humans, detecting and delivering the right treatment- all before any symptoms appear.

**Thoughts...They'e hit upon a particular combination of DNA that may well work.
I'd rather call it DNA Nanotechnology, than associate it with the word 'computer'
