Or better yet-THE CHURCH AND STATE SURVIVOR-where rich and powerfull people compete with the popes for power over the people and each other.
Alliances, backstabbing,persecution..the whole works.And if any scientists come along with proof that undermines the teachings of the church,they can vote him or her off before they get a following. Then go back to the backstabbing, power struggles, etc.
