Re: selective death delivery (Amaranth Rose)

Never mind your bad lucky Ancistrodon. None can change the past.

There is a tale here saying something about chicken could keep vipers away. This is presumably due to the continuous soil hitting while feeding and dispacement. It's just a tale, nothing more.

Investigating animal toxins is very interesting. These animals are a summum of complexification. I'm astonished of the evolutionary tenacity to involve such complex active organs. I'm a bit sad how low interest snakes are in public opignion. Human lethal casualties are really overstated. My references are a bit old now (1998) but at time, five million snake bites worldwide provoked 200000 human death annually. This proportion is very low comparing with the risky life of ordinary city dwellers in ordinary conditions.

I won't let you think I'm one of these snake worshipers. I worship all animals, especially marine organisms.
