A stupid tourist reply.
I study evolutionary trends on fishes. One of my main actual references are from dead shark killed for human consumption by fishermen.
Fining is not fishing indeed. Sharks are rejected back "alive" after fin were removed (Malaysia).
Malaysian finers are embittered artificially by the power of money but revanche for a few lost legs is an excuse.
Sharks are persecuted for classic consumption(flesh) or stupid (soup), for recreation (sportive), for beach safety (surfers & paddlers), because human don't like shaks (religion?), for their liver (vitamine & cosmetic), for heir gastric fluids (antibiotics), for cancer drug perspectives...ect
Ah yes, I've forgot the theme of my reply, also perhaps persecuted by stupid tourists like me avide of solid scientific reference material for study purpose.JP
