Two problems with the peace model. Two very, insufferably, stupid problems.
1. The Palenstinians will not, under any circumstances, suffer Jews to live in their hemisphere, much less their designated part of the earth's crust.
2. The Jews will not, under any circumstances, agree to a peace which in any way appears to let terrorism win. This is why Israel insists on destroying any and all terrorists first. Once this is established, then Israel is willing to talk peace. Of course, it is also known that the very idea of killing every last terrorist (and an 8 year old Palenstinian child throwing a rock is considered a terrorist) is an impossible goal when so many become martyrs in their own culture.
So what may have started out with clear if not noble purpose - and mere disagreement on both sides - has escalated into a forever war where as long as a representative of either side exists, there will be bloodshed in the name of someone anyone who has died before.
The Hatfields and McCoy's don't hold a candle to this kind of stupidity.
The jury is still out on the Fighting Catholic and Protestant Irish.
