It's worse than you think, Andy. The butchers remove only the fins and throw the rest of the shark overboard. Without fins the shark cannot steer and has difficulty righting itself. It is helpless and at the mercy of any and all attackers. It dies a horrible, ignoble death. All for a few bowls of "delicious" soup. What wonderful creatures we are.
