I don't quite live here, but I'm spending a lot of time in the computer. For my summerhome I'm lookinf for a 400 node Beowulf cluster with a nice view. :-)
I started a writing challenge last November, to write 50,000 words in a month. I hit 50K on the 14th; I'm right at a quarter of a million words and reluctantly admitting that (a) I'm awfully full of hot air and (b) it's time to split it into two novels. I've been editing, trying to whip it into some kind of shape for sending out on the publisher rounds. It's not your mainstream sci-fi novel; it oozes the s-word nearly everywhere you squeeze it, in nearly every kind imaginable.
I'm glad you like Beau Sheep. At first I was afraid I'd be pilloried; now I'm thinking it'll just be ignored. Perhaps it was too much thinking to put in front of people. A little toleration never hurts, though. I'm still working on Our Lady of the Perpetually Peaceful Pixels, though. All are welcome who come in peace. :-)
