Re: Finally! Little Beau Sheep, for Peep! (Jean Pierre)

I'm not discounting or ignoring pheromones, as I am one of those people who can tell who is in a room by using my nose. I personally think they're much more important than people realize. I just didn't want to complicate matters any further by trying to discuss them in this posting. IMHO, people tend to pay far too much attention to what they see (hence the popularity of movie stars and glamour queens) and much too little attention to the real substance that lies beneath the exterior. I for instance am one many people would never give a second glance to; it has the effect of making me almost invisible socially. A lifetime spent on the outside looking in has given me a very different perspective than most. Coming from outside the box, I tend to "think outside the box".

As you say, there are no "pat" answers to some questions. I have a tradition that says, "To question is the answer". I don't know how to translate that into something less idiomatic and more meaningful for you. Basically it says that the process of questioning is sometimes the most meaningful thing that can be done in a given circumstance. The process of thinking can be an end in itself. If I've made people think, I will have fulfilled my purpose. I'm just the messenger.
