Kudos to the new PhD. Had he instead called it something like "anedenite" instead of "parvo-mangano-edenite" he would have gotten more and better press (and gone toward the top of alphabetical lists).

Ya gotta think of this stuff. Well-managed science is done to secure more funding, not to discover anything.
