Yes, and it's called milk, cheese and unfertilized eggs - feathers (as they do fall) wool but not hides, etc.
To remove a limb for eating may have an adverse effect on their morale for living, for that purpose - and they do register pain. Nor do they believe you when you tell them, "this isn't going to hurt, because I prefer to believe you are ... 'pretending'?"
Should be become so self serving, why not just serve .... your self/own leg?
