Well let me ask you this (because my understanding of Einstein's equations is admittedly fuzzy - NOT my knowledge - but my understanding):
If were to find out that the Universe had a true horizon twice what we now believe, wouldn't that, with only a very minor modification of the homogeneous and isotropic universe model, still fit withiin the framework of Einstien's hypothesis?
I'm not a Ph.D, truly - but still - I stand by my assertion that; I mean, THE UNIVERSE, MAN! Pretty big freaking place!
