Re: Time Travel, Can it ever be? (Barry)

1) Time travel backwards violates causality if there is only thread of time. If there are parallel universes, you simply shift into a universe where the new order of events is the natural order of events.

2) Any universe with time travel backwards will remake itself until it does not discover time travel.

3) A time machine goes back in time whereupon it is enshrined in a display constituted of the materials that would have been used to build the time machine. Now patiently wait, shrine intact, until the time machine is built. Of what will it be built?

4) Make your time machine. A bowling ball suddenly appears - the one you will send back in time five minutes five minutes from now. Wait five minutes; then do not send back the bowling ball.

No time travel backwards. Time travel forwards is easy - you are doing it right now.
