If the practitioners of western medicine were more concerned for their patients and less invovled in the pursuit of the almighty buck, people could afford western medicine and wouldn't need to pursue oriental herbal medicine.

Besides, some herbal medicine actually works. When it does it sure is cheaper than the western allopathic stuff, and is usually dispensed with more kindness and genuine concern for the patient.
