Anyone with more than a passing knowledge of biology knows that we, like many other primates, are omnivores.

Those that go for nutritional/food fads are just neurotics: Usually with a superiority complex about how they are better than others.

Unfortunately for them and their silliness ... there has not been a single study that has ever indicated they were healthier than us omnivores. In fact ... exactly the opposite.

Reminds me of the morons that are into Chinese herbal medicine. Seems they forgot to notice that the Chinese are moving to Western medicine as fast as they can. And that their life expectancy and overall health is improving at the same time.
