Pay particular attention to slides 13, 14 and 15. The circles in slides 13 and 15 represent water droplets.
Now to your artificial rainbow
A few feet from the far end of the hall, use a misting-type sprinkling system to create a curtain of very fine water droplets.
Along the long length of the hall, install skylights configured such that the majority of the light reflects off the off the water curtain and back to the eye of the room occupants.
