It seems to me that you tried to give one answer to both my questions, regarding the need for religion and ethics.For clarity reasons, let's keep them separate issues.If you want ot continue the need for belief topic, let's do so on that particular thread.
Let's return to the ethics problem.You say ethics transcedes belief, which is fine.The problem is how would you build a code of ethics starting from scratch?
