I thought so too. Maybe they should have wrapped it in a huge bag full of styrofoam packing peanuts in a uv-degradable sack and taped a razor blade to the outside with a note requesting that the finder please cut it open on the dotted line. Or a nice graphic illustration to that effect for non-literate beings.
