(Specific heat)(mass)(/_\T) = energy. Add or subtract the energy of phase transitions, if any. Over wide temperature spans you must integrate over the changing specific heat vs. temp.
You don't know the differnce between heat and temperature.
- First Law of Thermodynamics: You cannot win.
- Second Law of Thermodynamics: You can only break even on a very cold day.
- Third Law of Thermodynamics: It never gets that cold.
Low grade energy cannot be upgraded to high grade energy at a net gain or even beakeven. One uses co-generation to squeeze as much of the thermodyanamic limit as possible at each descending stage.
