You might look up - Panspermia/Fred Hoyle/Chandra Wickramasinghe in a search engine.
(They proposed that Bacteria in Comets are seeding
life thru the universe)

Edge of Space Microbes Revived

Nor should one forget the Microbes than Man has put into space. Microbes left on the Moon via the moon rover and other contaminated instruments. These surface Microbes were collected and revived back on Earth, on a later Moon mission.
(I believe Pasti had mentioned this in Scienceagogo sometime back. I myself proposed that when the pressure locked door opened, allowing Man to first walk on the Moon, microbes swoooshed out to contaminate the surface)
