failure to communicate is such a common event, especially when it becomes politicized.But to put it in a form a 8th grader could understand:
I think George Bush would have been more honest if he has stated his support for a Martian program before Spirit's successul landing. There was more than one opportunity to do so and it was not taken. As it is, I think he is trying to claim a little of the glory by making statements he knows others will have to drive and sacrifice to make happen.
(at least I would have understood that in the 8th grade, I can't speak for all 8th graders)
