Yes, I think I understand what you are trying to say. Actual Astronauts are not on Mars, but a real viable roving machine has just recently landed, and is now sending back information.

Prehaps you heard, a few hours ago President Bushs
anouncement that he is going to establish a manned
colony upon the Moon, before 2020.
As the next stage to an actual manned exploration of planet Mars.
Not sure why he came out with this anouncement,
now? Maybe hes running scared of the Chinese getting there first? Or prehaps he hopes to collect, votes, now the election is getting into gear?
Still no matter, we see thru his self optimistic idea.....pity he wont be around in 2020, to reap the kudos.
he can dream away.
