You want to take a leaf out of The Old Testament
Study the Jewish 'Day of Atonement' Where its states quite catagorically- That your sins cannot be forgiven by God, nor by any Priest or Rabbi.
Only you by reciting your sins openly in the public synagogue....and stating that you will do better (not sin)in the coming year
Its the Jews most holy day, when they try to "atone" for their sins. God does not come into that equation. It has to come from your own heart and mind.
