Sorry, i didnt explain what I meant very well.
By "earthlike" i meant igneous and metamorphic rocks...as distinct from a pure ice world.
No you did'nt miss anything....I think that:-
-if its orbit does not follow 'in the same elliptical plane around' the Sun as our existing Planets....it may well be classed as a large Oort object 'which has been captured in the past. Therefore would not be classed as a planet'
