God forgives you, for asking. The lesson is in offering, not those who would decline your offer. You've humbled yourself, something many find impossible, seeing, "Sorry", as a sign of weakness.

I can't say diplomacy works much better than your frustration (here) - know that years of practicing what you preach pays just rewards with all your relationships, if they have any higher ethics, as will recognize and value your gifts and integrity.

Nor does God require literacy to pass GO. Hang in there.
