Well although I know little about this subject,
are we not really arguing as to what could be the minimum amount of DNA required to produce a viable reproductive germ/virus, (i.e an absolute minimum requirement for life?)
Since we hav'nt tested the amount of DNA present in all micro-cellullar life on earth, nor have we constructed a micro-life form using existing snips
of available DNA, -as yet. How do we know who is right or wrong?
