Try honesty - diplomacy is not telling a lie, it's BS. It appears so quaint, but is self defeating as it confuses people - they don't know where you're coming from. I know where I'm coming from, but you can understand my misunderstanding your invitations, taking you at your word (all diplomacy aside - or so I thought). My disappointment is only overshadowed by genuine hope, and that I was, eventually, allowed to say my piece, and received abuse of just about every kind, for it. So what's new ...
