The gentleman is perceptibly eccentric, which goes with the territory. He's entitled to his opinions. Uncle Al has not ever been in contact with him.

We have a new blank reactor head in hand and are having it modified for the third round of ambient pressure solution synthesis diamond experiment. The chemistry is in hand, Devil Solvent is tamed. We should know by summer.

Diamond synthesis isn't Nobel Prize stuff. It would never be considered unless it were

1) reduced to practice,
2) published in peer-reviewed scholarly literature, and
3) had a subsequent citation rate in the top 10% of all papers published that year.

We haven't accomplished (1) to date, we have no interest in (2). Given (1) we would go trade secret or patent and be interested in royalties. It's the money, honey. "8^>)
