35 cents X 20 gallons = $7.00
$7.00 x 1 million cars = $7,000,000.00 taxes per fill up.
if these 1 million cars are filled up each week
then that would be 364,000,000 taxes a year.are there more than 1 million cars in the U.S. ?
lets stab at a more realistic number of cars in the U.S. say 100 million.
that should generate about 36 billion dollars anually in taxes.
this number may be less may be more/this is why the Government will not fund any type
of energy savings invention.and why should they when they use this money to run the country?
its entirely a economic thing and thats all it is.
but lets hope that the need for this money has not
led to an attack on our country in a round about way.
