I have absolutely NO idea what that equation means. I was with you up until /_\ which I've never seen before.
Anyway, if the icecaps melted off and all this happened wouldn't we end up with more moisture in the atmosphere? Also, isn't one of the problems of global warming heat being trapped near the surface?
I don't know if that would be enough to heat up all that water. I just don't think the oceans would recieve the same amount of heat. It seems also to me that if the ice caps started melting, they'd also break up more and we'd have more icebergs floating around into the more temperate regions where they'd melt.
