Quantum gravity

For those that are still interested in quantum gravitation, Smolin published a very nice article in Scientific American, the Jan 2004 issue.It is called "Atoms of space and time", and it describes the latest in the field.
I am not sure if the article is available online,and I couldn't find it on arxiv either(no wonder about that).But the Scientific american issue in question is already in the stores.
